My son had a significant crossbite & crooked teeth… there was also a possibility that he would need surgery on his jaw in the future if it wasn’t corrected. I went to a dentist, but was disappointed with the lack of care (I felt like a number), the lack of transparency with regards to the breakdown of the cost and the lack of knowledge about how they were going to correct the issues. As a result, I chose to take my deposit and go to Turner Lim (orthodontists, not just dentists). Donna Lim was AMAZING! She was sooo knowledgeable and she spoke to my son during the consultation, (not just to me as the parent) Donna understood that he was the one that was going to go through the treatment. After my first consultation, I understood exactly what I was paying for and Donna even told me what potential treatments may crop up, if my son’s jaw changed shape as he went through puberty. I knew everything in advance (as well as a possible timeframe), before committing to the treatment. Throughout the whole process, Donna was a “person” as well as a “professional”, we never once felt like a number. The technology & equipment was also impressive and all the staff were friendly & performed their job efficiently. Fast forward a few years and my son’s teeth are awesome! Donna’s skill and experience, resulted in my son’s treatment taking less time than expected and he hasn’t required any jaw surgery. One would never know that my son used to wear braces and required other implements to correct his bite. Thank you Donna Lim, your care and professionalism is the reason my son wants to be an orthodontist himself!!
