The patient onboarding process was seamless, facilitated by Mr. Zhao, who exhibited professionalism and efficiency in coordinating my consultations. My clinical assessment was conducted by Prof. Jennifer Li, whose distinguished career includes, numerous international clinical fellowships, a PhD and tenure as a clinical professor at the prestigious Prince Philip Dental Hospital ranked among the top 2 globally (QS Rankings by subject). Prof. Li performed a meticulous evaluation of my malocclusion. She thoroughly explained the relationship between my misaligned dentition and the resultant periodontal issues. Her proposed treatment plan was highly personalized, demonstrating a profound approach to multidisciplinary oral medicine. Furthermore, Prof. Li’s mannerism is exemplary; she was highly attentive, frequently verifying my comfort throughout the procedure. The initial periodontal therapy performed by Leo was outstanding. The removal of staining on my teeth and plaque removal was exceptionally thorough, utilizing specific colorimetric agents to identify plaque biofilms, while remaining entirely painless with their advanced scaling technology. This high level of clinical expertise and gentle precision makes this clinic ideal for pediatric patients or individuals with dental anxiety. * 2023-07-12: We have used Max&Beresford for 2 children. For our daughter: It was overcrowding of teeth, requiring relatively straightforward and conventional alignment in her late teens. The team at Max&Beresford and under orthodontist Dr. Jennifer Li did a great job.👍 For our 10 y/o son it was more complex: As a result of medical misdiagnosis of enlarged addenoids over a 2+ year period, he had been suffering apnea. The doctors had diagnosed him as having simply colds and a blocked nose. However, the apnea (arising from enlarged adenoids) had caused his lower jaw to grow out faster than his upper jaw, resulting in seriius front teeth misalignment, and his dentist then recommended an orthodontist. It was Max&Beresford orthodontist Dr. Jennifer Li who diagnised the apnea and enlarged adenoids as the causal problem. So he had to first have an addenoidectomy before corrective orthodontic treatment could be of any use. The orthodontic treatment then involved the wearing of a reverse pull mask overcan extended period, to pull the upper palate and jaw forwards. This could only be effective if done during his growth spurt stage. Once that mask phase was completed, the tooth realignment was relatively straightforward and us ongoing. The Max&Beresford team and Dr. Jennifer Li in particular have my gratitude for doing a superb, professional job.👍
