They may have just cured my forever fear of dentists 🦷 I had two impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr Richard Cobb and the team at OMS, and honestly, from start to (ongoing) recovery, I felt completely supported and well cared for. I first met Dr Cobb around three months before the procedure, and he clearly explained what needed to be done, including all the possible risks, in a calm and reassuring way. That initial consult really helped ease my anxiety. Leading up to the surgery, the communication from the clinic was top notch. Every email I received was clear and timely—from medical certificates, insurance documents, and invoices, to reminders about what to do (and not do!) before and after surgery. They were also super prompt in replying to all my questions, which I really appreciated. Even a small issue around insurance approval was sorted out smoothly with their help. Dr Dan Cochrane, the anaesthesiologist, also gave me a call the day before the procedure to walk me through what would happen under IV sedation, and that chat helped calm my nerves so much. On the day itself, I had a quick check with the nurse before surgery, and both Dr Cobb and Dr Cochrane spoke with me and my partner before I went in to make sure we were comfortable and had all our questions answered. The procedure went really well—I don’t remember a thing—and I woke up to the kindest nurses looking after me. I’m still recovering as I write this, but the slight discomfort and pain I’ve felt are all normal and manageable. OMS even followed up with a couple of phone calls post-surgery to check how I was doing, which made me feel genuinely looked after. If you’re a nervous patient like me, I highly recommend OMS. Their care, professionalism, and warmth made a huge difference in what I thought would be a terrifying experience!
