Let me say it outright; Quality Dental is a fabulous practice. A story: a few weeks ago, I received an entry-level ticket to dental purgatory: a loose filling in a critical molar. Following x-rays at my normal practice, the prognosis for the tooth was so unpromising that extraction seemed to me to be the most realistic path. Unable to find an optimal appointment time at any practice in Pōneke, and with a two-day trip to Tamaki Makaurau pending, I took a look outside the box, and Quality Dental in New Lynn was the first practice I got in touch with. When it turned out they could fit me in on the second day of my visit, I couldn’t quite believe my luck. But what really impressed me was that within twenty minutes of submitting my x-rays, Dr. Hassan was on the phone to me, for what amounted to a thorough phone consultation, for which I was not invoiced! The crux for me was, having initially requested extraction, I had a change of heart at the eleventh hour, and emailed Dr. Hassan, apologising for the very late notice, and asking if the tooth might be saved after all. No problem! came the reply. To avoid my having to extend my stay in Auckland, he accommodated me over two sessions on the same day: a root canal late morning, and then back for a filling replacement late afternoon. He later said it was one of the more challenging procedures he’d undertaken, but I would hardly have suspected it at the time, given his cool calmness and good humour. I never thought word “delightful” is one I’d use for any experience in the dentist’s chair, but delightful it truly was. Quite simply, Dr. Hassan is a terrific guy, supported by a lovely staff. What good fortune it was to have found them.

Only giving this 5 stars because there isn't 100 (read FULL review) Had an appointment at quality dental today for some fillings, and WOW was i amazed. You'd think that there couldn't possibly anything worthy enough to write a review this amazing about a dental clinic, but that my friends is where you are wrong. This clinic is like no other, from the clean, homey vibe of the reception, to the wonderfully kind and caring staff, they make you feel like you matter. I was extremely lucky to be put under the care of the wonderful Dr. Hassan and his assistant Keiko (hope i spelled that right) and if there is any explanation for the perfect dentist, these guys don't fit the description, they are wayyyy above that title. Dr Hassan and his assistant made sure i was enjoying my time, as they could tell i was nervous since i had never gotten fillings, originally i didn't want to get them, and now i want to go back! Another thing that shocked me is when Dr Hassan noticed i had a chip in one of my front teeth, and instantly he goes "ooh looks like you have a chipped tooth, let me just fix that for you" and now my tooth is perfect! I mean come on! have you ever heard of a dentist that does that, that's right you haven't, because these guys are more than dentists. This dental clinic is like no other, believe me when i say that.
