I had to find a dentist fast as I was going overseas - good would have done - excellent was too much to hope for. I hit the jackpot - great advice and fast, cost effective treatment. I’ve been in the UK a while, the ‘temporary’ fix has been fine and the best part - I now have a dentist I ‘trust’ ! So a couple of years on I’m back at Luminos and happy to be there. I was a bit ‘past’ time for a visit, but there were no lectures. I had a check up and we agreed to fix a small filing, there and then. I’d booked a hygienist appointment for the next day and that was great - a really good clean and great advice around ongoing maintenance. Today was my final visit, for now, and it was quite a large replacement filling plus an extraction. The thing that is really re-assuring, is that we talked through all the options and chose what was best for me. Dr Mark Taylor also keeps you fully informed throughout the process - you know what’s going to happen every moment and that puts you at ease. The post-op care is also great. Finding a great Dentist is like finding a great mechanic, yes there is expense involved - but you don’t mind paying when the job is done so expertly and when the results are excellent.

Very happy with my treatment. I was very nervous beforehand, as I'd broken a filling and had exposed the inner tooth. I was scared of how much it was going to hurt, and whether it would turn into a bigger, more expensive job. Happy to report that Mark, my dentist, did such a good job at putting me at ease, and that my actual treatment was a lot less painful than I was afraid of! I still felt a bit uncomfortable of course, but It was actually quite bearable and a lot better than even aome of the hygienist treatments/cleans that I've had previously, which is great when you consider he was actually drilling and filling the tooth. Also really relieved that he was able to fix it with just a filling, and that I didnt need a root canal after all, i do appreciate this a lot as it is a lot less expensive financially, and a lot less painful physically too. Afterwards, my jawline did feel a bit tender that evening, but it is all back to normal now, and a million times better than dealing with the broken tooth. Thank you ao much for looking after me!
